THE IDEAL HOMES BUILDING CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY
The Ideal Homes Co-operative Building Society was started in the year 1964 by late
Mr. P.I.Joseph, the founder president of the society and his team.
With a current membership of 4002, “The Ideal Homes Township” on Mysore Road is spread on about 326 acres. About 1911 sites have been allotted to the members in all.
The Society has also started a new layout “The Ideal Hi-Tech Layout” on Hosur Road. And have acquired 52.27 Acres of Converted land.
Constantly working towards a better lifestyle of all members and other people around the township, the society has not depended on any financial aid from the government. All needs have been met by the society’s funds.
The Ideal Homes Co-operative Building Society is a member of the International Co-operative Housing Foundation for Asia and the Pacific.
The Ideal Homes Co-operative Building Society has been awarded:
“THE BEST WORKING CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING SOCIETY” in Karnataka, by the State Government in 2004.
And
“THE BEST WORKING CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING SOCIETY” by the International Co-operative Housing Foundation for Asia and the Pacific in 2006.

The approach road to the township from Mysore road is complete with median and street lights. The entire layout is also developed with asphalt roads. About 6500 trees have been planted in the entire layout. The Ideal Homes Township has both, Cauvery water supply and water supplied from bore wells. The layout has been provided with underground drainage system. The water supply and sanitation has been now handed over to the BWSSB for maintenance. |
